WHEN -

There is no wrong or right time, each season just has different things to see and do. So it depends on which animals you are interested in.

STAY -

Galapagos Safari Camp

set in 135 acres of farm land with lush vegetation full of bird and tree species, a Main Lodge  located on the rim of an extinct volcano with sweeping views of the forest and the coastline, Glamping in 9 eco-luxe African style tents on stilts  with private decks with coastal views over the forest.

The tents are very large and private with lush vegetation all around. They have hot water in the en-suite bathroom and Ninacuro products. The couple who created this slice of paradise are committed to looking after the environment and sustainable hospitality.

ABOUT -

First of all click on the link above to see which month suits you best. As it is near the equator the temperature doesn't change much and when it rains it doesn't hang around long. It's all about the animals and when they are around doing their thing.

Fly

to either Quito or Guayaquil for your connecting flight to the Galapagos Islands. It would be a good idea to spend a few days getting over your flight so you're nice and fresh when you get to the island. Both cities are worth seeing in their own right and if you can try to see one on the way in and one on the way out. See EXTRA at the end for where to find more information on these two cities.

Check your tickets to see how much baggage you are allowed as it is usually restricted on this flight. Get picked up at the airport and taken back to your luxury tent to begin the adventure. The Galapagos Islands is all about nature and the animals. You're a privileged guest and they have the run of the place. They have no fear of humans and you'll be amazed to see them going about their business with little regard for you.

Be as active or relaxed as you like. There is a whole catalogue of adventures to be experienced on land and out in the water as well. Whatever you choose will be amazing.

The Safari Camp on Santa Cruz Island is the perfect accommodation as you are out in mother nature but with all the luxuries to make it an unforgettable experience. If you love the great outdoors and mother nature this is the honeymoon for you.
