The best time on the Pacific coast is in the dry season between December and April. But expect rain anytime of the year. That's what makes the country so lush and

Liberia's Daniel Oduber International Airport (LIR) - 

has direct flights to 23 cities in 4 countries. These include cities in Europe, USA and Canada (Calgary). The most obvious citeis to connect through would be Los Angeles, Dallas-Fort Worth, New York, Miami, Zurich and Schipol in Amsterdam. If you can't get a connecting flight to one of these locations you may need to fly through San Jose and take a domestic flight to this airport.


San Jose's Juan Santamaria International Airport (SJO) - 

has direct flights to 40 cities in 15 countries. Mainly to the USA and Europe. There are also flights to Bogata, Lima and Central America (including Mexico). From here take a domestic flight to Liberia (LIR)

From Liberia arrange your airport transfers with the hotel. It is a 45 minute trip.
