Restaurants here are high standard and expensive. Drinks at the resort arent cheap.

At the moment 37 countries participate in the Visa Waver Program. They will need to go online and get a Electronic System for Travel Authorization. You will get 90 days on arrival. Check with your local consulate.
TRANSPORT -
Flagstaff Pulliam Airport (FLG) is 30 km away. It has direct flights to Denver (DEN), Dallas-Fort Worth (DFW) and Pheonix (PHX). Of these Dallas-Fort Worth has the most connections and flies to each of the continents except Africa. You could pick up a rental car here to get around.
Or you could do a road trip from Los Angeles which is 8 hours drive away - LAX - which had direct flights to 187 destinations in 47 countries.
