Seoul - 4N

  • Start off the trip in the capital Seoul. Stay in the Insadong area with easy access to   the major attractions and transport system. The subway is the best way to get around. Have a good look at the main attractions which are close to the hotel such as Gyeongbokgung Palace and Bukchong Hanok Village as well as the Insadong area. A full day trip up to the DMZ and associated places is almost mandatory. On your last day get out and about to see some of the other sights like markets, the War  Memorial, the N Seoul Tower and some of the more quirky sites. A popular activity is rail biking. Head over to Gangnam and do the dance. If you're a K-Pop fan you'll  need to visit these places.  After a long day trekking around try a traditional Korean sauna. In the evening make your way down to the Banpo Bridge and its Moonlight Rainbow Fountain.

  • Korean food is a highlight and it is worth trying different things. There are more Korean Fried Chicken shops in Seoul than McDonalds in the world. They consume more garlic than any other nation and eat their favourite condiment Kimchi (pickled spicy cabbage) with everything, including ice cream. Try Poop Cake or Jipangyi Cane Ice Cream  - part ice cream cone, part sex toy. Alcohol is very cheap and they like to imbibe. A lot. Seoul has a variety of choices for nightlife areas to suit your preferences. Start the night watching the sunset from a rooftop bar. The Itaewon Special Tourist Zone Organization wouldn't be a bad place to go next. Being    drinkers means they also have some great late night eats.
